There are two kinds of people in this world, those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't.

So it's been a while since I last updated. Things have been somewhat busy, somewhat lazy. I got to go to Chicago at the beginning of the month for business, and it was amazing. I haven't been to Chicago since high school and it was great to go back if even for a short while. It is such a nice city and definitely a lot cleaner than NYC. I got to go to Nordstrom's, which is one of the things I miss most. And got to have dinner with a friend I haven't seen since high school also!

This past Saturday I ran a 10K in Central Park for the National Kidney Foundation. It was amazing! It felt so great to get out and do something good for myself and others. I have run the course a few times before and was a little scared because it's all uphill/downhill but I ended up doing better than I ever imagined!

I was pretty sore for the rest of the weekend, since I didn't train really at all before I ran the 10K so I watched the end of Melrose Place season 4. I'm convinced it's the most dramatic/best show ever created. I also brought What About Bob? outta the dvd vault. I forgot how funny that movie is, hence the blog title!

Other than that, nothing much is happening. I am just counting down the days till my VA visit in June!! I am so ready to go home for a long relaxing weekend and to finally see my beloved Maggie after WAY TOO LONG. I never thought I would appreciate Danville so much until I moved to NYC. And now I really love spending time in a quiet, slow-paced albeit extremely boring, environment. Sometimes it's just really refreshing to get out of the concrete jungle.
