More Spring Fever
Here are some pictures from this weekend--some little things that made me smile.
1. I find it really refeshing to see old beat up cars along the streets of NYC. It's nice to see a bit of reality mixed in with all the Bentleys and Aston Martins. Makes me smile when I see them.
2. I finally got curtains for my room. They make a huge difference! I should have gotten them a lot sooner.
3. I saw a goofy looking dog like the one from NY Minute at the Farmer's Market.
4. I adore the peeler man at the Farmer's Market, I see him every Saturday and could listen to him for hours.
5. I got a neon green manicure and saw a neon ad being painted.
6. Had the most wonderful visit with my Mom and got to spend a lot of time outside enjoying the warm weather.
7. Finally started running for my race, and got new running shoes and new running attire!
8. I am so so thankful that warm weather is for the most part here to stay. I love being able to spend all my free time outside!
9. And on a sad note, my dear friend Kristina is moving back to VA next week, and I am saddened by that. But these next few months are bringing a few cool friends into the city and I am excited about that!

Spring Fever
Here are a few photos from my fun filled weekend enjoying this warm weather...well for Saturday and then my sinuses kicked in and I spent all day Sunday in the bed reading!
Some fun things since the last time I posted:
-I saw Isla Fisher filming Confessions of a Shopaholic late one Friday night.
-Had the most amazing Italian dinner with some of the most amazing girlies I know.
-I adore having yoga teachers that challenge me and show me my ability to do things I never thought possible.
-In Cold Blood, was the BEST book I have read in a long time, I highly recommend it. After reading it, I decided to reread To Kill a Mockingbird since Capote and Lee were childhood friends. I basically read the entire book yesterday and it is so lovely. It makes me miss the South a little, and kind spirited people in general. These last few weeks have really brought my attention to disgusting rude New Yorkers and sometimes I really hate it. Didn't their mothers ever teach them if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all?
-Spent the weekend with Mr. Q....hence the above pictures from our escapades.
-FINALLY went to the New Museum....which was great even though half of the galleries were closed, good thing we used his student discount to buy tickets! The view from the top deck was amazing though, worth the admission alone.
-my Mother is coming to NYC this weekend for a 4 day weekend, and I am so excited. Long weekend and good company =)
I guess that pretty much sums it up....so yeah!

Little dose of warmth....
1. my ballet class was lots of fun, harder than I thought but so much fun!
2. i adore the sweet people who work at liquiteria and always have a way of making my day a little brighter. they remind me of the south.
3. i'm running a 10K in may, and after that, God-willing the summer heat doesn't kill me, am going to start training to run the NYC marathon this november!
4. I finally started in cold blood by truman capote (something i've been wanting to read for a long long time) and it is such a GREAT book! he is truly an amazing writer.
5. and lastly, I have the worst case of spring fever ever! I am so ready for warm weather to be here.
